
BRIEF:
Marqeta is a fintech platform that requested a sub-brand be created to promote product release highlights as a way to connect more frequently with tech developers. This quarterly marketing release contains important updates to products and docs. The goal was to go beyond basic marketing content to increase visibility and adoption of new features.
MY PART:
I art directed and designed the sub-brand from conception to final execution. I began with determining the thematic characteristics and audience, then explored the best possible design solution. All product marketing stakeholders were included throughout the process to help shape my solution and confirm that the visuals would resonate with this audience.
I creatively solved the request for a sub-brand that would market to a developer audience using the DevOps figure-eight symbol. DevOps team management defines the process of building, testing, and releasing product updates and the figure-eight is by far the most widely-understood visual symbol for this developer audience.
